Location: 

• Roselle, IL 60172

• This position will start off onsite at the current location in Glenview, IL(60026). However, by Summer 2022 the new location for Signode will be in Roselle, IL. The Roselle location offers a newer facility, doubling in size and providing an up-to-date, state-of-the-art customer engagement center and more. 

 Shift/Hours: 

• Monday – Friday /6:00 am-2:30pm

Requirements: 

• Ability to read drawings in order to assemble items

• High School Diploma/GED 

• 1-5 years’ experience in a warehouse setting 

Highly Preferred: 

• Knowledgeable about hydraulic press

Essential Functions: 

• Ability to read drawings in order to assemble items 

• Lubricate, align, and adjust subassemblies for free working and proper operation 

• Perform operating tests per product checklists 

• Willingly learns new duties 

• Assemble a variety of subassemblies used on specific industry application equipment 

• Makes effective decisions during change 

• Communicates effectively 

• Demonstrates cooperation and collaboration while working toward team success

• Has the ability to work both independently and with others 

• Immediately report any tools or machinery which is not operating properly to your team coordinator or manager 

• Perform multi-cell assembly duties and misc. duties as assigned 

• Use feeler gauge, common hand and power tools, arbor press, hydraulic press, and hand trucks 

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment

• Diversified work requires considerable judgment and initiative 

• Participation in group, department, and safety meetings 

• Prevents scrap and rework 

• Customer orientated, works to exceed customer expectations 

• Able to build products to the established standard 

• Reports to work regularly and on time 

• Proactive in identifying and communicating simplification methods and potential cost reductions. Seeks out new challenges
