The Continuous Improvement Engineer will be responsible to identify Waste, implement countermeasures, educate associates on Lean principles and techniques and facilitate Kaizen throughout the Multi-Wall business unit. This position will be located in our Gary, IN facility and will take direction from the Operations Director. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Conduct and lead waste walks 

  • Facilitate Kaizen events 

  • Identify opportunities and drive improvements in product quality, speed, downtime and waste. 


  • 5 - 10 years of manufacturing experience (Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred) 

  • Proven track record in manufacturing improvement  

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

  • Strong interpersonal skills 

  • Ability to work well independently and with a team 

  • Proficiency in computer and information technology
