We are looking for a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Talent Acquisition Manager to not only cultivate a supportive and inclusive work environment, but also to drive these principles through support of our recruiting and hiring initiatives.  This would include reviewing and crafting fair company policies, implementing inclusion programs, and applying objective hiring procedures.  Ultimately, you will help to ensure that we provide equal opportunities to all potential candidates and existing employees regardless of their protected characteristics.

Essential Functions Statements 

  • Build and execute a comprehensive DEI Strategy; utilize DEI data to define a DEI strategy that enhances diversity, equity, and inclusion, including the development of global polices and processes ensuring that DEI is embedded in our programs, practices, and ways of working to include talent management, talent acquisition, on-boarding, and other programs that support an inclusive and engaged workforce. 

  • Create and implement DEI programs aligned to Signode’s DEI strategy. Implement innovative initiatives to foster a diverse, inclusive, and inspiring workplace for Signode employees. Design resources and training that is accessible to all, utilizing various delivery channels. 

  • Develop and support the roll-out of training for both hiring managers and Human Resources staff on how to select, manage, evaluate, and retain diverse employees. 

  • Build awareness, understanding, and knowledge of DEI programs 

  • Establish alignment and partnership globally; support the building of strategic DEI plans drawing upon business data, engagement surveys, and employee feedback, and equip leadership teams with the tools to drive DEI practices, build diverse teams, foster an inclusive culture, and retain talent. 

  • Support and manage the Forward Program across all of Signode global business platforms from recruiting to onboarding to employee development. 

  • Manage the Glint Survey globally 

  • Manage our talent acquisition selection criteria to verify they are objective and strictly job-related 

  • Develop, implement, and manage a Global Diversity Committee in the organization and develop best practices for the organization from a global perspective. 

  • Act as a company liaison with government agencies concerning Affirmative Action and Equal Employment opportunities. 

  • Collect and analyze statistical data to evaluate the company’s population in accordance with diversity standards and goals. 

  • Manage our recruiting strategies 

  • Oversee MSP and RPO vendors 

  • Third party recruiting contracts 

  • Identify recruiting resources and organizations to enhance our existing recruiting strategies and expand our current external talent pool 

  • Collaborate with internal departments on the building of Signode’s brand and ability to attract diverse talent. 

  • Lead Talent & Diversity projects 




  • BS/BA degree or higher, preferably in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field. 


  • 7 – 10 years of Human Resources experience with at least 5 years specializing in diversity programs and talent acquisition. Experience in the manufacturing sector a plus. 

  • SHRM CP of SHRM SCP would be preferred as well as diversity certifications such as AIHR, eCornell, ESSEC, DiversityFIRST or HRCI. 

  • Ability to manage cross functional/business projects as demonstrated by previous experience coordination deadlines and deliverables to multiple stakeholders. 

  • Experience working with a global organization and understanding and managing various geographic cultures and workforces. 

  • Effective and proven communication skills whether they be verbal, written, or other form of presentation. 

  • Proven collaboration and relationship building skills. 

  • Current knowledge of labor and human rights legislation 

  • Proficiency with MS Office 365 and related software 

  • Ability to travel as required (maximum would be 10-20%)
