As a Lab Technician your primary role is to support engineering in application and development projects. This includes but is not limited to setting up and breaking down prototype machinery, conducting tests on development projects and recording all the relevant data.

• Setup and perform product testing under the supervision of an engineer.
• Collect, document and communicate data and observations
• Ability to utilize basic measurement tools (tape measure, caliper and micrometer)
• Ability to utilize common assembly tools (drills, hammers and wrenches)
• Assist engineering as needed
• Modify equipment under supervision of an engineer
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Assembly and disassemble prototype equipment under supervision
• Provide feedback to engineering
• Ability to use a fork truck

• Experience in development or technical support of industrial equipment a plus
• Experience working directly with engineers in a technical support capacity
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics required
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal

• Minimum of 1-4 years’ experience

Associates degree or equivalent work experience
