Machine Operator ( Heavy Lifting)

$2,000.00 Sign on Bonus

Location:

• Hazleton, PA

Salary:

• Up to $19.50 per hour, depending on experience

Shift:

• 1st - 6:00 am - 2:30 pm

• High school diploma/GED required 
• Knowledge of various material-handling equipment an asset 
• Possess a high regard for safety in the workplace 
• Able to lift 75 pounds unassisted

Summary:

Operate gang saws in cutting of corrugated paper and drive forklift in transportation of materials. Ability to flex regularly between saws and forklift. (Hourly, daily or weekly) May also be assigned other duties as Supervision requires 

Essential Functions:

• Gang Saw primary duties 
• Set up saws for product to be processed 
• Cutting of corrugated slabs to desired length and thickness 
• Use of micrometer/caliper in measuring product to assure compliance to quality standards 
• Clean work area and equipment regularly by removing empty pallets, wood and plastic. 
• Follow company standards and legal regulations to ensure safe and positive work atmosphere. 
• Perform Lockout/Tagout
