Day shift - 6am - 4:30pm  Monday - Thursday (With OT on Friday)

PRIMARY PURPOSE: This position works effectively and efficiently in a combination production/maintenance role with minimal supervision. The primary function of this operator will be to serve in a maintenance capacity for the facility and machinery. When required, this operator would switch roles to serve in and support the production schedule to meet customer requirements.


  • Works safely and effectively –interaction with equipment has high potential for injury to self and others.

  • Effectively and safely carries out plant maintenance needs. To include 3-phase,480V electrical troubleshooting, basic electrical troubleshooting, and diagnoses, both advanced and basic mechanical troubleshooting and rebuilds.

  • Help in development and adherence for Preventive Maintenance plan of all plant machinery and tooling.

  • Effectively works in any required production capacity.

  • Assists in plant upgrades and modifications to support continuous improvement efforts

  • Disciplined in time management due to the independent nature of the work.

  • Observes environment to identify potential safety hazards.

  • Disciplined in use of tag out/lock out procedures.

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.


  • Active participation in continuous improvement, 5S and other events as requested.

  • Cross-trains to other positions as requested.

  • Be efficient in CNC machine operations –backup for the primary CNC operator.

  • Forklift Training & Certification.


  • Trained in tag out / lock out procedures.

  • Must have a minimum of 3 years of facility maintenance or equivalent experience.

  • Must be able to understand decimal and fractional measurement with the use of a tape measure.

  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks and complete on time.

  • Excellent communicator with co-workers, supervisors and suppliers.

  • This work requires being able to tolerate work in anon-air-conditioned environment

  • *CAD or Solid WORKS experience a plus.

  • *CNC experience a plus

    Identify and indicate the daily percent of time spent on each

  • Primary function -Plant maintenance. As required.
