Essential duties and responsibilities include:

- The primary “Hands-on” change agent for the facility.

- Continually improve Safety, Quality, Delivery, Labor productivity, Net Waste KPIs

- Ensure Continuous Improvement culture thru daily management and engage hearts/minds of team

- Ensure compliance to material specs/usages

- Control Plant costs within budget

- Take the lead to commission new products for the plant

- Ensure corporate reporting is completed in a timely manner

- Provide direction, development and leadership to the entire manufacturing team. 

- Manage a multiple shift operation.

- Team player that shares/contributes to other sites

- Champions company-wide efforts in select areas to improve overall performance

- Minimize turnover thru providing an attractive employee experience

Minimum Qualifications:

- 7 – 10 years of progressive plant/manufacturing experience

- Demonstrated results in Continuous Improvement

- Lean Manufacturing experience a plus

-Thorough knowledge of all plant operating processes and equipment, purchasing procedures, safety procedures, governmental regulations and company policies.

- Experience in selecting, defining roles, leading/mentoring/motivating a team

- Experience in plastics and injection molding industry  is required 

- Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills along with working knowledge of MS Office

- Must be available to respond to emergency situations as needed
