Description/Job Summary


This position is responsible for their safety, quality and productivity while performing the duties of this post. This includes verifying quality parameters, working in a safe manner and keeping up with productivity rates. 

  • We offer a competitive salary with a range of $60,000 - $80,000 based on experience and skill set.
  • This position also includes potential commissions earnings in addition to salary.

Essential Functions: 

  • Ensure the safety and productivity while in their designated department 

  • Follow all rules, directives and orders set forth by Management, Supervision and Leadership 

  • Ensure quality verification procedures are followed and dispositioned as needed 

  • Maintain workplace in accordance with housekeeping standards 

  • Effectively communicate with Management, Supervision and Leadership about all safety, quality and production issues 

  • Report all incidents (safety, environmental, etc.) 

  • Ability to perform visual inspections and identify non-conforming issues 

  • Work as part of process and quality improvement teams 

  • Ensure production and quality documentation are reported correctly when applicable 

  • Perform related duties as assigned or as directed by management 

  • Properly use measurement tools 

  • Communicate and work with other employees in other positions and departments 



  • High School Diploma or GED. 

Experience / Abilities: 

  • Ability to multi-task and complete task on time 

  • Good oral and written communication skills 

  • Basic math skills 

  • EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Minimum of one year of prior supervisory or team leader/group leader experience. 

Computer skills: 

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite preferred. 

Position duties include, but are not limited to: 

  • Works with minimum supervision & enforces all safety rules. 

  • Ensures the overall safety of the production facility. 

  • Works at the direction of the Plant Manager. 

  • Oversees the overall training of production personnel. 

  • Maintains correct procedures and follows specified guidelines. 

  • Maintains necessary documentation, ensures quality & production. 

  • Ensures proper maintenance and operation of production equipment. 

  • Ability to be hands on with equipment repairs and problem solving. 

  • Maintains employees PTO, hours and schedule in Dayforce. 

  • Ensures housekeeping and cleanliness of the plant and grounds. 

  • Inspects and measures parts and products to verify conformance to specifications. 

  • Directs workers in adjusting machines and equipment. 

  • Establishes or adjusts workforce to meet production schedules. 

  • Develops, recommends, and implements measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product. 

  • Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew. 

  • Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving work problems. 

  • Conducts employee interviews, training, planning, assignment, performance appraisals, rewards, and disciplinary actions. 

  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. 

  • Any other duties assigned by plant manager.
