TITLE: Point Operator

POSITION: Full Time / Permanent / Direct Hire

LOCATION: Loveland, OH

  • Comply with all Safety Rules and Procedures
  • The Point Operator has the authority to stop production if there is an unsafe condition or a problem with quality that is not rectified in an expedient fashion.
  • The Point Operator has the responsibility to notify the Line Operator of production or quality problems.
  • Load product that meets the Signode standards and customer specifications onto skids at a rate that is acceptable.
  • Conduct quality control checks for leg length, leg size, caliper, degree and correct piece counts.  Fill out Quality control sheet with above information for every other row unless specified different on line sheet.  Inform operator of any problems.
  • Strap pallets as needed as designed per work instructions.
  • Lubricate cutter blade on chopper as needed.
  • Dispose of scrap.
  • Maintain housekeeping around chopper area.
  • Help daily with daily shut down procedures as designated.
  • All other duties deemed necessary.



  • High School Diploma or equivalent
