$2000.00 Sign On Bonus
Location : Start out in Glenview, IL then move to Bridgeview, IL around the summer of 2022

Shift / Hours: M-F 8Am-430Pm
Overtime not mandatory

  • 2+ years of experience in warehouse operations. 
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights and weekends, due to varying volumes 

Summary 

The Warehouse Operator is responsible for all material handling activities such as receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping. The material handler performs duties to ensure that customer requirements are consistently satisfied while achieving performance targets related to inventory efficiency, distribution efficacy and quality compliance.

Essential Functions 

The Operator will perform activities in shipping and receiving. He/She will operate material handling equipment for the purpose of executing the work. 


  • Complete unloading / loading of materials at docks. 

  • Conduct receiving activities for inbound materials that includes; identifying the product and marking it; recording the amount of material received; sort materials and stock on racks, shelves or bins in accordance with predetermined sequence such as product code, size, and type; arrange materials for order assembly. 

  • Pick and pack material for outbound shipments that includes: reviewing work orders (Transfers or Sales); gather and sort the product, pack mixed items efficiently. 

  • Process customer orders from stock and place on pallets or shelves, or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department. 

  • Stage and load products (pallets or boxes) into the Transportation equipment. 

  • Assist in completing cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy. 

  • Operates hand truck, cart, doilies, forklift, order-picker, and walkie to transport stored items from warehouse to plant or to pick up items for shipment. 

  • Utilize WMS (Warehouse Management System) daily to complete the receiving, inventory accuracy and order fulfilment activities. 

  • Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe for employee and customer traffic 

  • Complete work in a safe manner; adhere to all safety policies and procedures 

  • Housekeeping duties including all forms of warehouse cleanup
