 Customer Service Representative,  Gary, IN

Monday - Friday  8:30am - 5:00pm (can be a little flexible on the work schedule)

We offer a competitive salary range of  $20.00 - $24.00 per hour based on experience and skill set.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enter orders into company ERP system

  • Heavy communication (via email and telephone) with customer base to handle all orders, inquiries, and follow up in a prompt and professional manner

  • Ensure on-time deliveries through follow-up with scheduling, production and shipping departments. 

  • Coordinate filing, billing, and purchase orders with other departments

  • Provide exceptional customer service through telephone and email

  • Produce product masters including very detailed product specifications

  • Ability to build trusting relationships with sales and customers

  • Identify ways to strengthen the team’s commitment regarding accountability, teamwork, integrity, respect, and excellence.

  • Knowledge of Customer Service in a manufacturing environment

  • Knowledge of computer programs: SBT, Word, Excel, and Outlook

    Required Experience

  • Five (5) years of experience in sales, or customer facing role

  • Any equivalent of experience and training that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of this position
