Description/Job Summary

Summary:

This role is responsible for reviewing, quoting, and managing equipment orders through the system from lead to installation. This role will encompass all types of equipment projects in the L1 and L2 project range. 

• We offer a competitive salary with a range of $81,000-$99,000 based on experience and skill set.

Essential functions of role:

• • Provide correct survey on equipment, detailing what is needed for both the customer and production
  • Will provide support with proposals, pricing and equipment layouts (provide layout drawings, electrical schematics, manuals to the customer as needed)
  • Identify any non standard items on the survey and get with the appropriate group (Engineering, Development, Product Manager, Supply Chain) to discuss and get clarification to address the issue
  • Assist and prepare proposals to support segment managers
  • Follow order through the system keeping involved with both Sales and Operations
  • Assist with project team responsibilities as needed
  • Coordinate kickoffs, customer meetings, and pre installation meetings/documents/forms and coordinate with Service to set date for each meeting
  • Document any installation/performance issues
  • Provide customers with current information including but not limited to: offloading specs for equipment, IP addresses, OEM connectivity changes,

Position qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred (Engineering a plus)

• Experience/abilities:
  • Knowledge of significant segment of Signode’s commercial equipment lines
  • Experience in engineering proposals and project management
  • Strong organizational skills and strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to develop 2-D models for customer layouts
  • Ability to read and understand basic plant layout drawings
  • Basic understanding of electronics/pneumatics/hydraulics
  • Basic understanding of line automation
  • Collaborative mentality to support team working enviornment
• Computer skills
  • Strong computer skills with high proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel and Word
  • Experience with CRM and CAD systems a plus (including ability to read engineering layouts)
